An EV charging station is a dedicated location where electric vehicles can recharge their batteries, similar to how a traditional petrol station fuels cars, but using electricity instead of petrol or diesel.<\/p>

These charge points are fully accessible to drivers and can be found in public spaces, retail car parks, forecourts, and other key locations. Wenea\u2019s UK network includes over 400 charge points, offering a range of power levels, including ultra-rapid chargers at 300 kW, 150 kW, and 50 kW, to suit different vehicle types and charging needs.<\/p>

If you own or manage a site that could be ideal for EV charging, you can partner with Wenea to install charge points and benefit from long-term rental income while supporting the transition to cleaner transport.<\/p>

These charge points are fully accessible to drivers, in the same way as a traditional petrol station. Our locator puts at your disposal the more than 400 available charging points that are part of the Wenea network in the UK.     If you are looking to filter the charging stations in our app, it’s very easy! In the top right corner of the map, you will see a button with a \u2018Filters\u2019 icon. Just click it and you will be able to filter charging stations by speed, from slow to ultra-fast charging, connector or operator, being able to charge on the Wenea network or at the many stations we interoperate with. This way, you can find the charging station that suits you best.<\/p>

    TIP: If you are looking for ultra-rapid charging and don’t want to waste time, we have the perfect solution for you. Just filter our chargers (e.g. by +100 kW or +150 kW) and you will be able to charge in just 15 minutes.<\/p> <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n

When you open the application, simply click on the filters icon and you will see all the available options. If you want to add a filter, select \u2018Apply\u2019.     In addition, the icons on the maps indicate the type of station. You will find Wenea stations and interoperable stations.<\/p>

    During the charging process with Wenea EV chargers, you may notice a hold of up to \u00a345 on your payment method. This is known as a preauthorisation fee. The preauthorisation amount is not actually deducted from your account; rather, it is held temporarily to ensure that your account has the necessary funds to cover the cost of the energy you will use.<\/p>

    Once your charging session is complete, the preauthorisation amount is released, and you are only charged for the actual energy delivered. If you have any questions or encounter issues, please contact our customer service on 0800 208 8897.<\/p> <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n

    When you charge at one of our stations using our app, your bank will retain a security and verification fee. If you choose the full charge, it will be \u00a325 but if you prefer to do it partially, it will only be the amount you have chosen plus \u00a31.<\/p>

    But don’t worry, once you have finished charging, your payment will be adjusted to the exact amount, according to the energy you have charged. However, please note that the time it will take for your bank to return the money will depend on their policies and the conditions of your card. If the charge doesn’t work the first time, don’t worry, you can try again by reusing the previous card. And if you need to change the amount of the charge, a new block will be made with the amount you have chosen. We hope we have cleared up your doubts!<\/p>

    It is not necessary to enter your electric vehicle model in the \u2018My vehicles\u2019 section in order to charge. If you do not find your electric vehicle model on our platform, there is no problem. You can charge it without having previously entered it in our application, just select the charging point closest to you and start charging your vehicle.<\/p>
