Innovation
Innovation is at the heart of everything we do. Wherever possible, we recover materials and try to find a second useful life for the materials left over from our EV infrastructure deployments. Green engineering is in our blood, and we are always ready to manage grid constraints with self-developed renewable energy and battery installations.
Design
We have adapted the way we deploy our chargers. We are focussed on using less concrete in all of our installations and following good placemaking simples to transform our larger EV charging hubs into beautiful spaces for the public benefit.

100% renewable energy
At Wenea, enabling sustainable mobility is our core focus. Our chargers run on 100% renewable energy, which is backed by a Renewable Energy Guarantee of Origin. Wherever there are grid limitations, we are ready to unlock each sites potential with on-site solar generation plus battery energy storage system.

Waste management
Waste Management is key to our environmental strategy, focusing on pollution reduction and resource recovery. We implement a circular economy by repurposing materials instead of disposal and employing robust recycling measures. Collaborating with eco-conscious suppliers helps us minimise packaging waste. We also promote sustainability internally through employee training and reducing single-use materials. Our ISO 14001-certified Environmental Management System drives continuous improvement to support the UK’s climate goals.
