What are wens and how do they work?
Wens are Wenea’s tokens that you can use to pay for your charging sessions.
– Each wen equals £1.
– When you redeem a coupon, the amount is converted into wens and added to your Wallet in the Wenea app.
– The app will always use your wens balance first before charging your bank card.
Where can I get a promotional coupon?
Coupons are distributed through:
– Promotional campaigns with our partners.
– Occasional Wenea promotions during certain times of the year.
– Corporate actions with companies, hotels or shopping centres connected to our network.
How do I redeem a coupon in the app?
It’s very simple:
1. Go to your profile in the Wenea app.
2. Open the Wallet section.
3. Tap Redeem coupon.
4. Enter your code and confirm.
👉 That’s it! Your balance will be updated immediately.
Can I redeem multiple coupons?
Yes, coupons are cumulative.
– Each time you redeem a coupon, its value is converted into wens and added to your Wallet.
– Example: if you redeem two £20 coupons, you’ll have 40 wens available.
📌 Important: The terms of use (maximum amount, expiry date, etc.) always depend on the specific promotion or coupon.
Do coupons expire?
Yes, all coupons have an expiry date.
Each promotion defines two time limits:
– A deadline to redeem the coupon in the app.
– A deadline to use it for charging after it has been redeemed.
As a general rule, you usually have 1 month to use it after redeeming, although this may vary depending on the type of coupon.
Where can I check my wens balance?
You can check your balance at any time from the Wenea app:
– Go to your Wallet in your profile.
– There you’ll find your available wens and a detailed transaction history.
