Herefordshire EV charging upgrade

In partnership with Herefordshire Council, we’ve modernised the county’s EV charging infrastructure by replacing outdated units and expanding coverage across rural areas. This upgrade provides faster, more reliable charging options, encouraging local residents and visitors to transition to electric vehicles and enjoy seamless travel across Herefordshire.

Broad Street in Leominster marks the first site in our Herefordshire upgrade, featuring a 100kW high-speed charger and two 22kW chargers, with a total of six bays. This site is a key milestone in enhancing the local charging experience, offering convenience for drivers and supporting the county’s sustainable transportation goals.

Why Herefordshire? The answer is simple

As one of the UK’s most rural counties, Herefordshire is uniquely positioned for EV infrastructure improvements. With its central town, Hereford, surrounded by smaller towns and villages, access to EV chargers has been limited. This project addresses these accessibility gaps, enabling residents across Herefordshire to embrace EV travel without range anxiety and supporting the region’s commitment to sustainability.

It’s been great working with Herefordshire Council on this project. Together, we’ve tackled challenges presented to us and we are now gaining momentum across the region. With numerous new sites planned for 2025, we’re on track to deliver a reliable, future-proof charging network for all communities in Herefordshire.”
